From statistics, only 20% of projects are named as successful with respect to all pre-defined objectives met. Project Managers blame on unexpected things happened like prices change, staff turnover, complicated processes or even policy changes.
How come such complaints arise after problems occur? It is no doubt that risks should be planned, not just be managed. People become wiser after disaster but may not learn from mistakes. Risk management is an important module in all project management methodologies, which appears in early stage – “Planning.” With proper Risk Management Plan, Project Plan can be implemented in a more controlled manner.
