To enable a high-performance team, it is crucial to align the entire organization toward a common goal. When teams are aligned with a clear vision, all resources and efforts can be directed toward achieving that desired outcome. This alignment not only eliminates waste but also enhances shared value and improves morale, it provides the key source of inspiration, engagement, commitment, and organizational cohesion.
On the journey of business agility, focusing on the big picture and generating a vision of what the future will look like can help an organization plan backward to identify the steps to make it happen. This includes the new skills and abilities necessary.
In scaled agile, OKR is implemented at a different level, the mission objective is clearly stated, and the necessary values should be delivered to fulfil that objective, when the corresponding values are delivered, each level of the mission will be met and generate a greater outcome align with the vision.
Fundamentally, value is subjective to each customer. Therefore, it is imperative that business agilists understand how to identify and empathize with their customers in order to deliver differentiating value and customer experiences.
