The PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® exam is an agile project management exam launched by the Project Management Institute (PMI). For some types of the projects applying the previous thinking of “planning first and then doing things” can’t push the project forward at all. Therefore, PMI advocates adopting an agile method to manage projects that are constantly changing and has officially launched the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® certification, which enables project managers to have the ability to respond quickly. The PMI-ACP® certification verifies a practitioner’s ability to understand, apply agile principles, and practice on projects. It differs from other certifications in that it requires a combination of agile training, agile project work experience, and exams that include agile practices, tools, and skills. It also incorporates other agile methodologies including SCRUM (Agile Development), XP (Extreme Programming) and Lean Development (Lean-Agile).
