Accelerate Discovery with AI-Driven Insights

This micro-credential provides hands-on experience applying AI tools to accelerate and enhance product discovery work.

  • Identify Real Customer Problems – Use AI to analyze interviews, surveys, or support tickets and uncover opportunities.
  • Expand and Refine Ideas – Generate and evaluate product ideas with the support of AI.
  • Create Discovery Artifacts – Use AI to design artifacts such as prototypes, customer surveys, or journey maps.

  • Individuals involved in early-stage product development who want to accelerate discovery work with the support of AI.
    Professionals in product manager, UX researcher, product designer, innovation lead, and business analyst roles seeking to
    identify customer needs, generate ideas, and validate assumptions more efficiently.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Identify two or more customer problems or opportunities using AI on qualitative data

  • Generate a diverse set of product ideas and explain how AI expanded your creative scope

  • Refine & Select the top two ideas using AI scoring plus human judgment

  • Design one AI‑assisted discovery artifact and outline how to reproduce the process

  • Explain & Guardrail: Articulate AI’s role across discovery phases and draft ethical guidelines

Prerequisites

RECOMMENDED PREREQUISITES –  General knowledge of generative AI or completion of AI training such as Foundations of AI (ICP-FAI). Completion of Agile
Product Management (ICP-PDM) or equivalent product knowledge.
